For June 14th, 2025

Race 1

#2 Saltwater Swinger: Races at her third Maritime race track in her last three starts by coming to Woodstock here this afternoon. Looks to be clearly the best on paper in this group.

#4 Silent Movie Star: Comes in off of a decent qualifying effort on the good track here in Woodstock on June 7th. Has always had good gate speed and should be spotted well early.

#7 Happys Spirit: Makes her career debut off of a good qualifying effort here in Woodstock of 205/3 with a nice 30/1 closing panel. Could definitely hit the ticket with the right trip.

Race 2

#2 The Wicked One: Will start his 2025 campaign coming off of an impressive qualifying effort on May 31st of 2 minutes flat. If he minds his manners, he could be the horse to beat.

#4 Party Place: Will bring a two-race win streak into 2025 as he ended last year with back-to-back victories to close out the season. He was also a winner in his recent qualifying effort on June 7th to keep the positive vibes movin.

#3 Oligarchy: Is the only competitor in this race with some starts under his belt already this season with two starts in Bangor recently. The son of Arthur Blue Chip has shown some early speed in the past and will look to be spotted well early today.

Race 3

#5 Therealprincess: Was narrowly defeated in PEI earlier this week just by a nose in 159/4. Should be a major player in this contest here today.

#7 Elm Grove Quest: Also raced well earlier this week in Summerside in a third place finish in an impressive mile of 158/2.  The 6-year-old daughter of Rollwithitharry can never be counted out as she is ultra consistent and rarely misses a check.

#2 Mcland: Kicked off 2025 with a solid qualifying effort of 200/2 on May 31st. Draws a good position on the starting gate and should be put into play early.

Race 4

#4 Watchmaker: Rallied late for a solid runner-up finish earlier this week in Summerside in 157/4 with a snappy 28/2 closer. With the short horse field, he'll be tough to beat today.

#1 Emperor: The classy veteran will make his New Brunswick debut after racing in PEI to start out his season. He has drawn the pole position and will likely be put into play early.

#3 Joe C One Fiveoh: Speaking of classy veterans this fella kicked off his 2025 campaign with a solid qualifier here on June the 7th in 200/3 on the good track. He is one you always have to throw in your ticket.

Race 5

#2 Isle Bea Wickedwon: has started her 3-year-old campaign with back-to-back impressive wins on the Island, most recently in a wire to wire effort in 157/ 2 on June 3rd. Draws well with Post 2 and is a major player in this contest.

#6 Mia: Has charted a couple speedy trips of her own as of late pacing two of her last 3 miles in 56 and change. Will have to overcome the outside post but has the talent to compete.

#3 Summer Vibes: Hasn't raced since her big win in the 2-year-old NB Breeders here in Woodstock last fall where she took a new record of 2 minutes flat in the upset victory. She draws a much better post today then she did on that day and will look to be spotted well early.

Race 6

#2 Like A King : Has certainly performed like racing royalty so far in his 2025 campaign with three wins and a second out of his four starts and over $15,000 in the bank already. He draws well with Post 2 and it looks as though it could be hard for the competition to dethrone him here today.

#8 DJ Mustang: cranked up the horsepower in his most recent start in Charlottetown with a convincing win in 155/3 from the outside post. It's hard luck post draw time again today with his fourth consecutive eight-hole which is hard to believe.

#1 Miramichi Charlie: Hasn't missed the ticket in five starts this year thus far with two wins and three show spots to his credit. Has rail control here today and should be spotted well early.

Race 7

#2 House Edge Hanover: Returns to the Maritimes after racing in Ontario thus far this season. The 4-year-old son of Betting Line has won almost half of his starts over the last two seasons and will look to get back to the winner's circle here today.

#4 One Eight Hundred: Has been taking on the best of the best in the Maritimes thus far this season racing in Charlottetown and three starts back was a winner in an impressive 153/4. Draws a decent spot with Post 4 and wouldn't surprise many if he was to get the job done here today.

#1 Mantario: The veteran pacer has been racing well thus far this season after rejoining the Jennifer Doyle stable earlier this spring. He returns to New Brunswick and will look to make an impact here in the finale from the pole position.
