FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST

Race 1

#2 Bay Bries: Rallied late to get into the win conversation just coming up short in a runner-up finish in 159/3. If he sits a little bit closer this afternoon, he may just seal the deal this time round.

#4 Papa Clare: Captured the narrow victory by a head last week here in Woodstock in 201 flat for his sixth victory on the season. Definitely a player at this level with the right trip.

#5 Summer Vibes: Was just defeated by my above selection last week however was still  impressive in the runner-up finish from the outside post 5. Good news, same classification, bad news, same outside post.

Race 2

#1 Matts Tuition: Was a solid runner up last week in 201/1 however still came up just shy of his first W for 2025.  Has drawn the pole position for today's contest and may make the goose egg disappear here this afternoon.

#2 Littlestitious: Has hit the ticket in 4 of 6 and looks to be in a good spot here this afternoon. Draws post 2 in the short horse field and could be poised to strike late in mile and possibly earn victory number two on the season.

#3 Windemereimalright: Has strung together three consecutive show doughs and her recent times compare well with this group. Could hit the ticket again without much surprise.

Race 3

#3 Shiny Diamond: Was finally able to get her picture taken for the first time last week after making a quarter pole move and never looked back in 204/1. It took a minute to get the first win, it may not take as long to get her second.

#2 Tearful Tonianne: Scored a runner up finish in only her third start of the season and looks to be getting better every week. Should be on the conversation again today with a good trip.

#4 Silent Movie Star: Has strung together a trio of top three finishes as of late for her 6th of the year. Leaves from the outside post four however has always been able to get herself into good position early.

Race 4

#2 Mantario: The classy veteran hit an impressive $20,000 in earnings on the season last week by way of a runner up finish in Charlottetown. Comes back to Woodstock and looks to be in a good spot to add to his bank account once again.

#5 Therealprincess: Has been doing her best racing in the back half of the season and two starts back collected her fastest win on the season of 157/3. Will have to deal with the outside post however she is versatile enough to overcome without a doubt.

#4 Joe C Onefiveoh: Was able to get rid of the zero in the win column last week in start number seventeen in 201 flat. Takes a step up in competition but always has to be considered a threat to hit the ticket.

Race 5

#3 Whywhywhy Dalilah: Went right on down the road to collect her third win on the season in a new life's best of 200/3 last week. Back in a similar classification and could repeat here today.

#4 Heart Like a Truck: Was a solid runner up to my above selection last week in her own clocking of 201 flat. We could be looking at a repeat of the exactor.

#1 Tobins Barn Party: Will make his 2025 debut of the first day of November after a qualifying effort here on 10/25. Will definitely have to be a few seconds faster then his prep race to be a win contender.

Race 6

#5 Nuttin But Finesse: Came up just short last week after the sick scratch the week before. Back on the weekly schedule this time around and will be looking for redemption here today in the season finale.

#4 What's Inthe Esky: Was finally able to get the better of his arch nemesis of the season last week in an impressive wire to wire score in 158/2. It's fitting that they will meet again in the grand finale of 2025 here at Connell Park.

#2 Bet on Lucas: Continues to race well since coming to New Brunswick a few weeks back and hit the ticket last week despite the rise in class. He gets the post edge on his biggest rivals and will look to use it to his advantage.
