Race 1
#5 Slightly Twisted: Drove the bus last week and ended up with the show prize in the end. Has raced tougher recently and could do some damage at this level.
#1 Cocagne Harry: Has hit the ticket in almost half of his starts this season despite not visiting the winner's circle as of yet. Has rail control and should be spotted well early.
#3 I Can Do It: The veteran race mare has been collecting some minor shares since moving to the mainland earlier this summer. Paced a decent mile in her latest and could be a factor today.
Race 2
#5 The Ideal Huntress: Was a solid runner-up in her return to racing action last week. With the tightener under her belt, she may be ready to get her picture taken here today.
#3 Joe C One Fiveoh: Finished 4th by way of placing last week and paced a decent mile with a strong closing last quarter. Gets a decent post draw and some slight class relief which could definitely make him a factor here today.
#2 Tobins Barn Party: Kept his top three streak alive last week with another third place effort. Draws well with post 2 and should be sitting handy the action here today.
Race 3
#3 Littlestitious: Turned a two-hole trip into yet another victory last week taking a new record of 157/3. The 3-year-old has been solid all year long and will look to close out the season at Connell Park with a victory.
#5 Windsong Napoleon: The veteran pacer has been solid in the second half of his racing season and recently has raced against some tough company. Should be a factor despite having the outside post.
#2 Therealprincess: Was placed last week for interference in the first quarter however still paced a decent mile of 158 and change. Should be spotted well with Post 2 and has to be considered a player in this contest.
Race 4
#4 Oligarchy: Took home the final cheque last week racing against the toughest in the division. Back to the condition ranks here today and may bounce back with a victory.
#1 All Over Town: Also raced against stake company last week and ended up with a fifth place finish. The filly has two runner up finishes this season and with a good trip could earn her first ever victory.
#5 Silent Movie Star: Has been racing well as of late with tote board appearances in two of her last three. Has ample early speed to get spotted well early which could help land her on the ticket once again here today.
Race 5
#5 Press Time: Had a respectable showing in the Goguen last week in a fifth place and an individual clocking of 154/3. Prior to last week he had won four in a row and looks to have a good shot to get back to his winning ways here today.
#4 Watchmaker: Was impressive once again last week in a runner-up effort for his 14th Triactor appearance in 15 starts on the season. He will likely have to try and chase down my above selection once again today which may be a tall task.
#3 K D Overdrive: Will race in New Brunswick for the first time in a couple of seasons and has had a nice year racing in Maine with over $23,000 in the bank on the season. He faces some stiff competition here today however could hit the ticket with a favorable trip.
