Race 1

#2 Chevalier Semalu: Returns to EPR after racing here earlier this summer. He was a dominant winner two starts back by open lengths in 159 flat. Looks to be in a good spot for his second win in three starts here today.

#3 Grins Little Flirt: Is back in Saint John after scoring a victory last time out in 203/2. The veteran mare is back in a similar classification and should be a factor once again today.

#1 Putthecherryontop: Won going away last time out picking up her first win of the year in 204/1. She is up against tougher competition here today however rail control should help with early positioning.

Race 2

#4 Instant Shadow: Grinded out a first over runner finish last time out in 200/3 for his 3rd deuce in 4 starts. The five year old son of Shadow Play without a doubt likes to be close to action and with the outside post four he will be tested early. The first turn could tell the tale.

#3 Real Bigg: Picked up his fifth fourth place finish in six starts last time out in 201/1. He has only visited the winners circle once in 20 tries this year however still has a license to be a player at this level with the right trip.

#1 Desir Dorleans: Has only missed the board once in her last six attempts and has been racing well as of late. She has drawn the all important pole position which should help her get spotted well early.

Race 3

#3 Good Friday Three: Has won two in a row at EPR, both in wire to wire fashion. With post three, chances are he will be headed to the lead once again and could possibly end up with the hat trick at the Saint John oval.

#1 KD Overdrive: Padded his stats with his fifteenth top three finish of the year last time out in a runner up effort. The five year old son of Camystic draws a rare rail post which should help him get spotted well early on.

#4 Magical Alex: Was fourth last week coming off of his first win in a couple of seasons in Bangor the week before. He will have to do battle today from the outside post four however the veteran has ample early speed if called upon to use it.

Race 4

#5 Bold Arrow: Makes the drive across the bridge to the mainland to compete here today. The 10 year old veteran has only one victory in 18 starts however has been racing tougher competition in Summerside as of late. If he can overcome post five and get spotted well he may get win number 2 here this afternoon.

#1 Better Fly Boy: Has put together a couple of decent starts as of late with third place finishes in two in a row which gives him 5 show spots on the year. A decent trip today may land him in the top two for the first time this year.

# Cocagne Johnny T: Missed the board for the first time in four races last time out with a 5th place finish. He draws well again today with post two and should he get spotted well he may be able to back on the ticket here this afternoon.

Race 5

#4 Goliath Reigns: Loves the Saint John oval as evidenced by his third win in September here last week in another wire to wire effort in 159/3. He draws post four once again and will be in search of the September EPR grand

 slam here today.

#3 Ultimately Handsome: Has been taking on stiff competition all summer long an last month scored two solid wins during OHW in Charlottetown. He is a versatile pacer that can race any way to achieve success. He consistently paces in the 157 range which makes him a top contender here this afternoon.

#1 Bugger Max: Scored yet another top three last time out for is 14th of the season in 18 starts. With the stellar stats and rail control how cant you like him once again here today.

Race 6

#5 Stonebridge Grand: Has really been turning it on late in his 3 year old season and two starts back took a new record of 157/3 in Summerside. He will have to navigate a trip from post five but has proven he can race well from off the pace.

#1 Skippy: Pocketed up for a nice two hole ride last time out and when the veteran smelled the lead in the stretch, he drew away to a long overdue five length win in 201/4. With the confidence builder under his belt coupled with having rail control makes him a solid contender once again today.

#2 Ultimate Flyingnun: Has also been racing well as of late with two runner up finishes in her last three starts. The daughter of Driven to Win has a nice closing kick when spotted right and with post two today should be able to be in a nice striking spot late in the mile.
