Autumn Gold Series

The Autumn Gold Series will reward horses racing all season long in New Brunswick. Horses will accumulate points every time they start at a New Brunswick track, as well as for every dollar they earn in a New Brunswick race. Horses who make a minimum of 12 starts in New Brunswick will be eligible for tiered finals on Oct. 23 at Exhibition Park Raceway, with the top eight point earners competing for a $4,500 purse and those next in the standings being eligible to race in consolations worth $3,500, $3,000 and $2,500.

Here is how it works:

Sponsor: HRNB

Eligibility:

Series will be tabulated based on starts and points at NB tracks. Each horse will accumulate 500 points per start. Each horse will accumulate 1 point for every dollar earned.

Total points will be tabulated weekly: points for starts and dollar points will be combined. Horses racing in Woodstock will acquire 1000 points plus 1 point per dollar earned regardless of class.

Minimum 12 starts at NB tracks required for entry.

Purse:

Top 8 point getters will compete for $4500

Next 8 point getters will compete for $3500

Next 8 point getters will compete for $3000

For 8 horses with fewest points accumulated and 12 starts at NB tracks will compete for $2500
